What is an Innovation Project?

As a teacher, I am always looking for the next best thing to inspire my students to become more active participants in their learning. After researching Kevin Brookhouser's 20% project, I was inspired to recreate a version of this project for my own students. Thus, the Innovation Project was born.

Creating Your Product: May 15, 2014

So far in our Innovation Project this year we have selected topics, created elevator pitches for our topics, conducted research and written persuasive essays, and brainstormed ideas for final products. We are now at the moment where these final products/plans need to be created. All products will be due on Friday May 23, 2013.

Final group presentations will be held on Thursday May 29th and Friday May 30th in class.

Ideas for Products:

*Business proposals/plans

*Brochures

*Drawings or Models

* Public Service Announcement Videos

*Newsletters

*Revised curriculums

*Event plans

*Websites as your product

**We will be working in class on May 15th to begin creation of your products and then also in the Blue Room on Wednesday May 21st and Friday May 23rd.
