What is an Innovation Project?

As a teacher, I am always looking for the next best thing to inspire my students to become more active participants in their learning. After researching Kevin Brookhouser's 20% project, I was inspired to recreate a version of this project for my own students. Thus, the Innovation Project was born.

Monday: 3/31 Blogging Assignment

Now that the research phase is complete, let's reflect on the last two weeks!

 1.  What were you the most nervous about before starting the research phase of this project?

 2.  How easy was it for you to navigate the databases and card catalogue in the library?

 3.  Why do we use MLA citation? What was the easiest and most difficult part of citing your sources?

 4.  What was the most enjoyable part of the entire research process for you?

 5.  What was the least enjoyable part of the research process for you? 

 6.  Do you feel like you have more knowledge of your topic now and can work more easily towards a solution to this problem based on your research?
